Rethinking Type of Knowledge

Revisiting a previous post on the types of knowledge: Perhaps the trajectory is not types of knowledge, but something perhaps a bit more fundamental in the nature and direction of this existence.


 Perhaps:

• There is the initial establishment of the rules as in simple rules that generate all the complexity of this existence
• Then there is the manifestation of these rules. Can we call that following the rules? As in matter following the rules of gravity. Particles attracting / repelling to follow the rules of fundamental forces.
• Then there is the using these rules. As in a tiger hunting - learning how the prey moves, how to move with stealth, when to attack, ....
• Then comes the capability to change the rules. Initially by changing the context, e.g., boiling water by creating heat, wearing space suits and carrying oxygen to get into space, ....
• Then the ability to make new rules. We are beginning to do this in virtual realities. Somewhere in the future, life could do this in reality.
• And then a new beginning of creating a new existence with the establishment of new rules
